Vaping National Concern

Since October 1, 2019 there have been 1,080 lung injury cases associated with using e-cigarettes or vaping products reported to the CDC from 48 states and one US territory. CFEVS will continue to address this epidemic by providing information and resources to students and families. MS Ski Club Registration Begins October 1

Run by Community Education, this club is an annual favorite for middle school students.
The bus leaves after school on select Fridays in January and February and returns back to the school . Students are provided the opportunity to ski with their friends for 4 hours under the lights!  Students who are already season pass holders may register for bus transportation only to participate in the club. New 7-12 Traffic Patterns!

Please make sure to stop your car for pick up/drop off before the loop.  This allows those that pick up/drop off to move around a waiting vehicle and exit the campus.   Thanks!

CLICK HERE for the student supply list for 2019-2020.  Supplies may be brought with students on the first day of school or to the MS Student Walk Through on Wednesday, August 14 from 1:00pm-3:00pm in the MS Cafe.  Locker numbers will be printed on schedules and students may load their supplies into their lockers at this time or before class on the first day of school. Chagrin Falls Middle School is proud to share that the National Forum to Accelerate Middle Grade Reform has recognized our school as an Ohio School to Watch for 2019.  The program seeks to recognize a small number of diverse, high-performing, growth-oriented middle grades schools to demonstrate what all middle grades schools are capable of achieving.        
The criteria is based on:  
Academic Excellence where students are challenged to extend their minds.  
Developmental Responsiveness as staff is sensitive to the unique developmental challenges of early adolescence. 
Social Equitability that depicts fairness in order to provide every student with high-quality teachers, resources and supports.
Lastly, an organizational Structure/Process in place in order to enable the aforementioned three characteristics.

CFMS will be recognized at the National Schools To Watch Conference June 26 - 29, 2019 in Washington, DC.  We will also be awarded at The Ohio Middle Level Association November 7 -8, 2019, Columbus, OH.

This staff and CFMS care very much about the middle level student and work tirelessly to provide them with the very best education that reaches the mind, body and spirit of each individual Tiger.
