NEW Visitor and Volunteer Safety/Security System and Procedures
At CFIS, we are fortunate to have many visitors and volunteers with us each day. We truly value this strong connection with our parents and our community. At the same time, we take very seriously our responsibility to keep our school safe and secure at all times.
We are now using the LobbyGuard Visitor Management System at The Learning Village as an increased measure of safety and security. As always, ALL volunteers and visitors are first buzzed into the school building after stating their name and purpose for their visit. ALL volunteers and visitors are required to go directly to the main office in Building #2 first to sign in.
NEW PROCEDURES for ALL Volunteers and Visitors:
You MUST have your driver license (even if we know you, even if you visit/volunteer every day)
Scan your driver license and have your photo taken at the LobbyGuard kiosk in the office.
Hand your driver license to the secretary. It will be kept in the office until you sign out.
A visitor badge is printed by the LobbyGuard system and the secretary will give this to you. You must wear this at all times while on school property.
Prior to leaving the school, return to the front office to scan your visitor badge at the LobbyGuard kiosk so that you are officially signed out. The secretary will then give you your driver license.
For the safety and security of all students, staff and visitors/volunteers at Chagrin Falls Intermediate School, no one will be permitted in the school building without signing in through the LobbyGuard Visitor Management System and providing your driver license to be held in the main office until you leave.
We thank you in advance for your cooperation and support!
