Chagrin Falls Schools will open its doors to families and community members on Wednesday, August 27, for "Connected Learning: A.I. in Action at Chagrin Schools," a hands-on evening event designed to demonstrate how artificial intelligence is transforming education in the District.
The program, scheduled from 6:30 to 8 p.m. in the Chagrin Falls Intermediate School cafeteria, promises an engaging exploration of AI's role in modern learning environments. Attendees will discover how Chagrin Falls Schools is leveraging artificial intelligence to inspire both learning and creativity among its students.
"This is an opportunity for our community to see firsthand how AI is being integrated into our classrooms in creative and responsible ways," said Assistant Superintendent of Innovation, Technology, and Communications Mike Daugherty. The evening will feature interactive demonstrations and practical applications that families can take home to support their students.
The event will focus on two main breakout topics. "AI in Action at School" will showcase how teachers are currently using artificial intelligence in creative and responsible ways to enhance student learning. Meanwhile, "Empowering Learning at Home with AI" will provide parents and caregivers with practical strategies for using AI to support homework, learning activities, and skill development at home.
Participants can expect to see real examples of classroom AI integration, learn about safe and responsible AI practices, and discover concrete ways artificial intelligence can support student learning beyond the school day. The hands-on format is designed to give attendees practical ideas and tools they can immediately implement.
The event is free and open to all families and community members interested in learning more about AI's role in education.
