The mission of the Chagrin Falls Middle School Students of the Month is to acknowledge and reward students for exemplary performance. The students depict Tiger Techniques: Think, Integrity, Grit, Effort and Responsibility. Each month, the seventh and eighth-grade teams collaborate and choose a male and female "Tiger of the Month" and the students receive tiger water bottles from the PTO. Students of the Month for January include:
Izzy Rogalski (7th Grade): Congratulations to Izzy Rogalski, a talented problem solver. Izzy comes to class prepared to lead discussions, embraces mistakes as opportunities to grow, and is always willing to help others. She shows outstanding team spirit, enthusiastically participates in every spirit day, and leads by example with her strong work ethic and enthusiasm for learning. She is consistently respectful, humble, and patient with others. It is truly a joy to have Izzy in our school.
Trent Glass (7th Grade): Trent is a kind, caring, and hardworking student who leads by example through his participation, respect, and responsibility. He consistently completes his work on time, engages thoughtfully in class, and always brings a positive attitude—often with a smile and a great sense of humor. Polite and considerate to both teachers and peers, Trent truly brightens the classroom.
Madison Graves (8th Grade): Madison is always on top of her academic game—polite, prepared, and thoughtful in her work and interactions. She completes assignments with care and critical thinking and is always willing to help others. An outstanding leader, Madison goes above and beyond through her involvement in Student Council, athletics, Spanish Club, and weekly Study Table volunteering, making her a positive influence in every group she's part of.
James Hamerstone (8th Grade): James is a hardworking and dedicated individual who is always ready to learn. He is thoughtful and kind to others, demonstrates strong leadership skills, and consistently serves as a voice of reason among his peers. James patiently observes and assesses situations, allowing him to develop effective and thoughtful solutions. He continually pushes himself to grow—not only in the classroom, but also as an athlete—making him a positive and reliable presence in any setting.
