The 1966–67 Chagrin Falls Student Council posing at the Civil War cannon at Village Hall. They don't let kids climb on it these days, but generations of Tigers have memories of this iconic spot!
Have a school photo at the cannon? Let's see it in the comments!

While the rest of the school took the PSAT, our CFHS seniors headed out into the community for Philanthropy Day!
From helping at our elementary schools and lending a hand with gardening projects to delivering meals for Meals on Wheels, caring for animals at Party at the Barn and sorting books at the Kids' Book Bank, our seniors spent the day making a difference throughout the community.
Philanthropy Day is an opportunity for our seniors to step outside the classroom, connect with local organizations and experience the impact of giving their time and talents to others.
We're proud of these Tigers for representing Chagrin Falls Schools and putting service into action! 🐅

The CFHS Cross Country team wasup bright and early Sunday morning to volunteer at LifeAct's Move for Mental Health 5K, just one day after competing in a meet themselves!
Undeterred by the rain, our runners brought energy and encouragement as course monitors, cheering on participants every step of the way.
We're proud of these Tigers for showing what teamwork, sportsmanship and giving back to the community look like, both on and off the course! 🧡

For some Intermediate School students, that exploration took them to Valley Art Center to see Art Works, an exhibition featuring Northeast Ohio artists who also work in arts education and leadership—including our own CFHS Art Teacher Jill Eisert!
The visit was one of many opportunities offered during Growth Block, a time when teachers give students the chance to dive deeper into an interest, subject or skill. That might mean exploring an art exhibition, tackling math puzzles or trying something completely new.
Different interests. Different experiences.
More opportunities to explore and grow. 🧡🖤

Due to the ongoing power outage on our campus, tonight’s varsity football game against West Geauga has been moved to West Geauga High School. Kickoff will remain at 7:00 p.m.
We do not anticipate power being restored to our campus prior to the start of the game.
Tickets that have already been purchased for the game will be honored. Chagrin passes cannot be accepted. To buy tickets please visit West G’s Hometown Ticketing site.
Football players, cheerleaders, and band members will receive additional information regarding transportation and other logistics from their coaches and advisors.
Thank you for your flexibility and understanding. We appreciate West Geauga’s willingness to host the game on short notice.
Go Tigers!
Gurney Elementary School and Chagrin Falls Intermediate School will remain open and have school as scheduled today.
We will provide additional updates later today regarding athletic practices, games, and other activities scheduled at the 7–12 Campus.
With the Booster Tailgate and our first home football game of the season coming up tomorrow, it seemed like the perfect week to look back at Mortimer through the years. 🧡🖤
We'd love to see your favorite Mortimer photo!

We're starting in 1988 with some serious senior superlative energy. 😎 These Chagrin Falls seniors earned the title of "Most Outgoing," and there's a face that might look familiar to a few generations of students. He went on to become a longtime Chagrin Falls teacher and coach!
What was your senior superlative...or what should it have been? 👀

For the first time, Chagrin Falls High School seniors had the opportunity to personalize their parking spots, and they brought creativity and personality to the pavement. Great job, Class of 2027! 🧡🖤

Robin is a Specialized Student Support Aide in our Preschool program who connects deeply with her students and their families. On any given day, you might find Robin with a lap full of preschoolers reading a favorite book, exploring the woods together, or bundled up and playing in the snow. She builds such meaningful relationships with her students for one simple reason: she truly loves spending time with them.
Robin was unable to join us at Convocation today when our Staff Member of the Year was announced, so the Gurney team helped us create an extra special surprise. A HUGE shoutout to the entire Gurney staff for keeping the news a secret so Robin’s family could be there when we surprised her yesterday afternoon! 🧡🖤
