Eighth graders put their teamwork and problem-solving skills to the test as they programmed Sphero robots to navigate a croquet-style course. Along the way, they learned that a little trial, error and adjustment can make all the difference.
And this is just the beginning. The skills they’re building now will help prepare them for an upcoming drone project! 🚁

The Chagrin Falls Board of Education will meet tonight at 7:00pm in Sands Community Room on the 7-12 campus.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Tonight's meeting will share the results from the State Report Card Results that were released yesterday. We are celebrating student accomplishments yesterday and today and will share more on our social channels tomorrow.

Due to a power outage, the 7–12 Campus will be closed today, Friday, September 4. School is canceled for students at Chagrin Falls Middle School and Chagrin Falls High School.
Gurney Elementary School and Chagrin Falls Intermediate School will remain open and have school as scheduled today.

Congratulations to Robin Hoover, our Staff Member of the Year!
Robin is a Specialized Student Support Aide in our Preschool program who connects deeply with her students and their families. On any given day, you might find Robin with a lap full of preschoolers reading a favorite book, exploring the woods together, or bundled up and playing in the snow. She builds such meaningful relationships with her students for one simple reason: she truly loves spending time with them.
Robin was unable to join us at Convocation today when our Staff Member of the Year was announced, so the Gurney team helped us create an extra special surprise. A HUGE shoutout to the entire Gurney staff for keeping the news a secret so Robin’s family could be there when we surprised her yesterday afternoon! 🧡🖤
