Middle school students made a special visit to the Intermediate School, bringing energy, connection, and mentorship with them! Led by Mr. Kyle Patterson, students teamed up with 4th graders for some friendly basketball and meaningful classroom conversations. 🧡
These visits provided more than just fun, they offered valuable learning opportunities and positive role models for our younger Tigers. On the playground and in the classroom, students built relationships that inspire growth and kindness.

Kindergarten March Madness is in full swing! 🏀📚 Our kindergarteners are diving into stories, comparing books by the same author, exploring illustration styles, and discussing story elements like characters, setting, and plot. Each class votes on their favorite, and the excitement builds as we narrow it down to the ultimate Kindergarten March Madness Champion!

The 8th grade embarked on a day of cultural exploration last week! Students began with a visit to the art museum, where they analyzed works from around the world and interpreted questions in their target language using high-frequency verbs.
Afterward, students deepened their global connections through immersive dining experiences. World language students practiced their conversational skills with native Spanish, French, or Chinese-speaking servers, ordering meals and engaging in real-world dialogue. Meanwhile, non-language students explored Italian cuisine, broadening their appreciation for cultural traditions.
Through art, language, and shared experiences, students compared and contrasted cultures, engaged in authentic communication, and developed the skills of competent global citizens—ready to navigate a multilingual, interconnected world! 🌍🎨🍽️ #ChagrinSchools #CFtogether #ChagrinTigers #ChagrinFalls

Chagrin Falls students, Rory and Eire, recently showcased their public speaking skills at the Rotary 4-Way Speech Contest, where they delivered compelling speeches centered around the Rotary Club’s Four-Way Test:

3️⃣ Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?

As part of One School One Book, Skunk Haven came to Gurney today to talk about skunks! Our students learned SO much!
🦨Skunks are omnivores.
🦨Skunks are crepuscular, meaning they are most active at dawn and dusk.
🦨Pet skunks will live 8-10 years, wild skunks 2-3 years
…AND, we learned that skunks are not easy pets!
